How to join: overview
An entrance fee is payable for the first year only. Tennis under 29’s, Squash under 27’s and Juniors for both Tennis and Squash do not pay joining fees.
Tennis membership subscriptions run from March each year. Squash membership subscriptions run from September each year. Depending on when you join, there are reductions during the first year for both Tennis and Squash memberships.
To prospective Tennis members
Members may be Full-time or Midweek (Mondays to Fridays up to 5:30pm only); there is also an Improver category available if they are not quite of the standard required to play in Club Periods but are willing to be coached in order to reach that standard.
Full or Improver Tennis Membership – you should come to the club on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon as soon after 2:30pm as convenient and ask for the Club Period organiser, who will arrange a game for you preparatory to signing your application form.
Juniors (18 years old and under) with existing parent member(s) deduct £10 from subscription for month of joining. (Minimum Subscription £10). Juniors joining at the same time as a parent can join for an initial annual subscription of £5.

To prospective Squash members
Members may be Full or Midweek (Mondays to Fridays only, games to finish by 5:30pm)
Full Squash Membership – Download an application form below, or pick one up from the club. You will need the signatures of two club members to complete the form. If you do not know two members who will propose and second you on the membership form, it is best to come to the club on a Wednesday evening after 8:10pm or a Sunday evening between 6:50 and 8:50pm and ask for the squash club night organiser. They will show you around and arrange for your form to be signed by two squash members.
The completed application form and remittance should be sent to/left at the club marked for the attention of the Club Secretary who will arrange for your application to be countersigned by a Committee Member.
To prospective Gym members
The Coolhurst Gym, which has brand new Cybex equipment, is run by Synergy, who also provide personal training and fitness programmes, tailored for racket players. Using the gym properly can prevent injury and help rehabilitation, as well as improve strength and conditioning.
