Men's Tennis, 5th Team Squad 2006
The usual pairings for the 5th team squad were:
Chris Eck + Andrew Bisgrove,
Rob Cordingley + Yan Hatamian,
Graham Matthews, Ben Fortna, Gary White – any 2 from the three.
There was also one appearance from each of the following: Sidney Bloch, Chris Nutt, David Mitchell and Josh Rook.
Following last year’s promotion with an average of 20 points per match when we had John Hayes playing, and 3 promotions in 4 years, with most of last year’s squad apart from Chris Nutt and John Hayes, we’ve levelled out and won 4 of our 7 matches including the last match beating Clissold Park 1, 16-8, who were unbeaten till then.
We will finish in the top half of the table which will be good as we’ve lost 3 matches to really good opposition.
