Courts
Coolhurst tennis section have eleven courts with three different types of surfaces.
Club periods
Club periods are open to all Tennis Annual members. The sessions run on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in summer and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the winter months. The weekend club period sessions are organised and balls are provided. Regular attendees are expected to take part in a rota system of club period organisers.
On Wednesday evenings from May until September another session is run from 6.30 to 8:00 p.m.

Booking Courts
Some of the courts at the club can be pre-booked. Courts can be booked on-line at the club’s web site (www.coolhurst.co.uk) or by using the touch screen in the Clubhouse. Details on using the system and crediting your account have been posted on the club's web site under Court Booking, and by the touch screen. If you have any problems or queries, you can e-mail onlineadmin@coolhurst.co.uk for help or leave a message for the system administrator at 020 8340 6611.
Membership Cards
You will be issued with a membership card that you can either keep with you or you can leave at the club in the box on the corner of the bar. At anytime you are playing on court (other than during club period, coaching or team matches) your membership card should be displayed in the rack. If it is not the court can be claimed by other members.
Walk-on Play
If there are courts free they are available for play at any time from 7:30 a.m. on the hard courts and 8:00 a.m. on the artificial grass courts. The grass courts are usually available from 11:00 a.m. depending on the weather conditions.
When courts are busy, there is a restriction to: Singles - 30 minutes; Doubles - 45minutes.
Tournaments
The tennis section arranges:
Junior Club Night
Friday 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., supervised by a Coach and tennis balls are provided.
Tennis leagues

Social Events
These include barbecues, a New Years Eve party and an end of tournament party.
