Men’s Squash, 4th Team Squad 2006/07

Alex ‘Ace’ Baumberg

Alex loves his team squash! His game has improved significantly enough to claim the number 1 spot in the fourth team. With his often un-returnable serve, killer smash volley and laidback style, Alex is a tough player to beat!

Lee ‘The Joker’ Hagan

Relatively new member to the Club rising sharply up the leagues and now finds his home in League 1. He smiles more during play then he does off the court! A true enjoyer of the game.

Giles ‘Hacker’ Green

Over 5 years at Coolhurst, Giles has moved through the leagues from 23 to as high as 1! Known for his determination on court – never one to give up – he has become a key member of the team only losing one game out of fourteen during the recent 2006 Summer season.

Steve ‘Road Runner’ Horncastle

New to the fourth team and slotting in at number 4 with ease. Steve’s speed and agility across the court is second to none. From his previous team performances Steve has gained a reputation of being a hang-in-there player and coming back from 2-0 down to win.

Tamasin ‘Boast It’ Berzins

Although at number 5, the captain’s technique, volley drop and tight boast surpasses all. When Tamasin is on top of her game and focussed she can be unplayable and a true asset to the team. Tamasin is a committed team member and her organisational skills ensure the team operates smoothly. She has also been selected to represent the Middlesex County Ladies team.
